Carpet Tape Binding is available in various widths: 25mm, 36mm, 50mm, 110mm & 120mm – you can also have a Custom with that is achieved with Leather, Canvas and Commercial Fabrics. We have an Australian range and a UK range of wide Premium tape bindings; all samples are available to view in our showroom.
The Width of the binding is then folded over the Edge of the carpet or Rug then sewn in to hold both sides – so therefore if you choose 110mm binding tape, it is folded in half and wrapped around the edge of the carpet, the width you will get on top will be determined by the thickness or the carpet or rug.
Thin Carpets or Sisal we add a 3mm foam inlay to 110mm tape to give it a Premium finish.
For Sisal we recommend a minimum 36mm tape biding to hold the fibre together.
