Turn your offcuts into mats or rugs. Overlocking the edge of the carpet pieces produces a look that seems hand-sewn, although it is done by machine. It uses an overlock stitching (hence the term carpet overlocking), the yarn we use is also carpet.
Overlocking machines can take up to a 12mm thick carpet, we can add backings like comfort foam or calico, we sew it into the edges whilst overlocking – it locks it in tight.
We keep around 100 colours of yarn on hand, you can choose a matching colour or a contrast colour to edge your carpet.
